On Wednesday's Money Box Live Vincent Duggleby took your questions about saving and investing and put them to a panel of expert guests. Interest rates paid on savings accounts have continued to fall following cuts in the Bank of England base rate in December and January. With the Bank of England base rate now at 1.5%, the lowest level in more than 300 years, what sort of return can savers expect? Which banks and building society accounts and ISAs are offering the best interest rates? Should you consider National Savings products or UK government securities know as gilts? Or perhaps you have a question about investing in equities? Whatever your concern, our panel of experts was here to give you advice. Vincent Duggleby was joined by: • Gary Jefferies, independent financial adviser • Paul Killik, senior executive officer, partner, Killik & Co • Morven Whyte, portfolio manager at Redmayne Bentley Stockbrokers Presenter: Vincent Duggleby Producer: Lesley McAlpine
