Channel 4 has recommissioned another two series of the Charlotte Church show which is currently on Friday nights.
Around 1.9 million viewers tune in to watch the Voice of an Angel star take part in joke sketches and interview stars on the sofa.
Station bosses say the show, which has a 10% audience share, has above average ratings for a new series.
The singer, who lives with rugby star Gavin Henson, said: "I'm delighted that the show has been a success."
Christmas special
"I've loved the experience so much that I'm going to take a year out from making records to concentrate on the show, so that's it even better when it returns next year," she added.
A second run of six 45-minute shows will start in spring next year. A special Christmas edition is also planned.
Andrew Newman, head of entertainment and comedy at Channel 4, said: "Charlotte has proved herself to be a hugely talented star and has got better and better each week.
"She has become an incredibly charismatic all-round entertainer while remaining 100% natural, relaxed, down to earth and completely unfazed by her stardom."
Church shot to fame as a classical singer, becoming the youngest artist to top the classical chart following the release of her debut album Voice Of An Angel in 1998.
