Actor Chris Langham, who is facing child pornography charges, has been named best comedy actor at the Monte Carlo TV Awards.
He won the award for his role as a bumbling government minister in the BBC political satire The Thick of It.
Another UK star, Ashley Jensen, was named best comedy actress for Extras.
US hit Desperate Housewives won best comedy series, while CSI picked up best drama at the ceremony to honour global television talent.
Chris Langham was arrested last December, the day after scooping best actor at the British Comedy Awards.
He also won best comedy performance at the Bafta TV Awards in May, three days before being charged with 15 counts of making indecent images of children.
In a statement released at the time, he said he was "devastated" and "anxious to clear my name".

At Saturday's ceremony, he was up against Ricky Gervais for his part in Extras, plus comedy stars from countries including Brazil, France, Portugal, Sweden and the US.
Gervais's co-star Ashley Jensen beat the cast of Desperate Housewives, among other global nominees, to the comedy actress award.
British stars also dominated the mini-series category, with Helen Mirren winning best actress for her role in Channel 4's Elizabeth I.
The best mini-series actor prize went to Benedict Cumberbatch, who featured in the BBC's historical tale To the Ends of the Earth.
Lesley Sharp was named best drama actress for her role in ITV thriller Afterlife, while the male drama award went to Kiefer Sutherland for US series 24.
