People in south west Wales were promised a voice on BBC Wales at the launch of an interactive internet project which aims to give members of the community access to the web and a chance to get their story on the net.

Community involvement is at the heart of the Where I Live website and people from across the region attended the official launch at the National Botanic Garden in Carmarthenshire on Friday.

The website provides in-depth news, information on local events and the chance for people to put their contributions on the web.

The newly-refurbished community studio in Carmarthen is equipped with the latest technology where people can make digital mini movies from their experiences.
