Problem tenant's home closed off
Police sign
Police said the steps were taken as a last resort
A Dundee council tenant who has caused misery for neighbours has been thrown out of their home, officials said.

The move came after continuing complaints about loud music and anti-social and aggressive behaviour at the address, in the Douglas area.

Tayside Police was granted a two-month closure order on the Balunie Terrace home, to give residents some respite.

The force said the move was a last resort, taken after all other possible solutions had been exhausted.

Supt Arron Duncan said: "Hopefully, this step will allow other residents' lives to return to normal.

"In the meantime, Tayside Police and its partners will endeavour to find a long-term solution to the issue."
