Glasgow businesses are urged to signal their support for the bid

The business community in Scotland's largest city has been drafted in to the 2014 Commonwealth Games bid.
Firms across Glasgow have been urged to show their support for the event when representatives of all 71 Commonwealth countries visit the city.
Shops and other leisure outlets will display window stickers and other games material in prominent places.
The representatives will come to the city before the final decision is made in November.
Glasgow is in competition with Nigerian capital Abuja to stage the games.
City council leader, Steven Purcell, said: "The involvement of the city's businesses is appreciated and they will benefit if we win the games.
"One of the council's major successes in recent times has been the supplier development programme, a scheme run by Glasgow City Council on behalf of a range of public sector agencies, which is helping local firms bid for public contracts.
"Where we can use public contracts to grow our own economy and get people into work, while getting value for money, we should do so.
"If we win the right to host the games I want to see this programme being used to ensure local businesses are given the support they need to win public contracts.
"There will be many chances to be part of this, ranging from building and supplying the Commonwealth Village in Dalmarnock to producing games merchandise."
The Glasgow 2014 bid's head of media, Rob Shorthouse, said that by displaying a Glasgow 2014 sticker in a prominent position in their window, Scottish businesses would create a huge visible presence for the bid this summer.
Glasgow Chamber of Commerce's chief executive, Dr Lesley Sawers, has backed the new scheme.
