Benefit fraudsters in Birmingham are being warned the city council is on their trail as a new raft of cases come before the courts.
So far this year, 50 people who made fraudulent claims have been prosecuted and another 50 have been cautioned.
In one case a woman claimed £800 in housing benefit although her landlord was her father.
The council's audit team says it is determined to root out fraud, and offenders could face fines or jail.
