The company is to start a daily service from Newcastle to Palma from 17 May.
The new destination will increase the number of routes from Newcastle Airport to 11.
Fares to Palma will be from £27.99 one way, including taxes.
The airline began flights from Newcastle in March 2003.
The first destinations were Barcelona, Alicante and Belfast.
In August, it added routes to Prague, Paris and Bristol and destinations also now include Berlin, Copenhagen, Malaga and Stansted.
The company's chief executive, Ray Webster said: "EasyJet are expanding by around 20% in 2004 with one of the world's youngest fleet of aircraft, we look forward to introducing more fantastic routes at our great low fares.
"There is a huge demand in the North East for low cost flights.
"We are delighted to be able to expand our services from Newcastle yet again.
The expansion of services will mean that an additional aircraft will now be based in Newcastle.
