Hundreds of people have turned out in Lincolnshire to celebrate the homecoming of a group of soldiers.
The 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment - known as the Poachers - have paraded through Stamford.
The 200 soldiers have have just returned from a tour in Iraq where they spent time providing advice and training to the local army.
The troops, who were given the freedom of the town, will also be marching through Lincoln on Thursday.
Lance Corporal Daniel Tanner said the reception had been appreciated.
"It is the sort of thing you think about when you are a kid, being cheered by the crowds.
"It makes you feel better about what you are doing, it makes you feel proud."
Two soldiers from the regiment were killed during the operation in Basra.
