Bowie has never played the festival before

David Bowie is to headline next year's Isle of Wight festival, it has been confirmed.
It will be the first time Bowie has performed at the festival, which attained legendary status in the 1960's.
The festival returned to the Isle of Wight in 2002, after an absence of more than 30 years.
The event will take place during 11-13 June 2004.
Music folklore
In the late 1960s the island attracted legendary acts such as Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Who and The Doors for a series of festivals which remain in music folklore.
John Lennon and Yoko Ono were among the crowd at the original concert in 1968.
Bob Dylan played in 1969 and Jimi Hendrix in 1970, just a month before his death in London.
Complaints from local people after that final concert, which is said to have attracted more than 500,000 revellers, put a stop to any more festivals.
