Hi-tech youth service launched
A mobile youth service has been launched by Devon County Council at a cost of £118,000.

Three converted vans will be covering rural towns and villages around Exeter, north, mid and east Devon which currently have no youth facilities.

The Youth Service has bought and equipped three Mercedes Sprinter vehicles at a cost of £39,000 each.

They have seating for 10 people and are fitted with a television, music system, laptops and DVD player.

Activities like sports, art, music and multimedia projects will also be developed.
