Opening of new military care ward
Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre in Surrey
Derek Twigg said the care of armed forces was "a very high priority"
A new 30-bed ward has been opened at a unit in Surrey which cares for injured armed forces personnel.

The Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, based at Headley Court, near Leatherhead, helps them regain their fitness before returning to service.

The £1.7m annex "will ensure we have capacity for potential increases in the number of patients", said Derek Twigg, Under Secretary of State for Defence.

Headley Court treats those hurt during service or in day-to-day life.
