More than £100,000 has been awarded to voluntary groups in Cumbria by the county's Community Foundation.
Play schemes, workshops and rural outreach services will all benefit from the funding announced on Wednesday.
Cumbria Community Foundation began as a charity in 1999 and has already distributed £250,000 in grant funding to 500 projects around the county over the past year.
This time it has helped to find £103,000 for 25 local groups and clubs.
Inshore rescue
They include a summer playscheme for toddlers and preschool children in Bolton Low Houses.
A group for young carers in the Eden Valley will also benefit along with a new programme for Brownies in the north of the county.
In the South Lakes, the Coniston Youth Project will receive funding for new equipment.
Money will also be provided to buy new safety equipment for the Ulverston Inshore Rescue.
