It's the 156th University boat race, with Cambridge taking on reigning champions Oxford on the River Thames.
But far from a bit of messing about on the river, getting to the boat race or even the Olympics takes ambition, and a lot of early mornings.
Mike Bushell has been meeting future talent at the Thames Rowing Club, and of course getting his own oar stuck in.
