Busted celebrating their Brit success on Tuesday
Pop-punk band Busted have gone into the singles chart at number one, after their double win at the Brits.

The trio won the prizes for British breakthrough and pop acts at Tuesday's ceremony, and their single Who's David tops the charts.

Fellow Brit performers Duran Duran's five-year-old Greatest collection re-entered the album chart at number four.

Hotly-tipped new band Keane have the second-highest new single, at number three with Somewhere Only We Know.

The Sussex-based band won BBC News Online's Sound of 2004 poll last month.

The Brits effect could also be seen with OutKast, who performed at the ceremony, enjoying their 15th week in the chart with Hey Ya at number six.

The Darkness saw Permission To Land leap 17 places to number five in the album chart, while Jamie Cullum's Twentysomething soared 15 places to number 14.
