Jerry Lewis has acted, directed, produced and written films
Comedian Jerry Lewis is one of the great comic icons in American cinema over the last 50 years.
Along with his comedy partner Dean Martin, the duo made a series of films which remain classics of the comedy genre. From 1960, with The Bell Boy, Lewis also turned his hand to directing successfully. A huge star in the 1950s and 1960s, his career nosedived in the 1970s before recovering fitfully in the last two decades of last century. The highlights of his career include:
