Mervyn King on 'rewarding gamblers'

Bank of England governor Mervyn King has questioned the system of bonuses, which he said "rewarded gamblers."

Speaking before the Treasury Select Committee, he said it must be asked why everyone thought it was a good idea to reward executives in this way.
