"A few short months ago John McCain was written off by the chattering classes. He cut a lonely figure tramping alone through airports.
That's all changed now and the Democrats know it
John took to the stage, waved to his mom, and proceeded to convince me and millions more that he is the real agent of change in this election.
His character, like our national heritage was forged in the fires of adversity and we are the richer for it.
I guess Obama can put those styrofoam Greek columns back in storage for a while. A star is born. Sarah Palin, in American parlance, hit it out of the park. Hers was an incredibly sophisticated, poised and effective speech.
The recent manufactured sneering derision of the mainstream American media will now be seen for what it is - a partisan attack masquerading as news.
Rudy Giuliani was a scream, Fred Thompson gave an excellent speech and Joe Lieberman - Al Gore's running mate - advised the nation to vote McCain.
Wow. I feel so proud to be a Republican.
The world we inhabit can be a dangerous place and there are evil people in it. McCain will do a better job confronting them than his opponent."
