God calls each and every one of us, men, women, straight or gay.
People should be living in harmony within the Church and everybody should be made welcome.
I have used the BBC News Website before to post comments on topics I find particularly relevant or interesting.
I found guest contributing fascinating. I think the system made the message boards less faceless and the other users were respectful towards the guest moderators.
The answers and comments we made didn't appear instantaneously but in some ways that was a good thing. It was more like talking to a group than picking up on particular posts.

I hate the idea that the Church will split. I would like to see a unified Christian Church.
I would attend a church if the priest was gay, because it is Christ who blesses the elements and not any human. But I would urge the priest to re-think about his position within the Church.
I enjoyed the experience of acting as a guest contributor. It was interesting to be exposed to people with a wide range of views that I would not come across normally.
Some comments really made me think. For example, one post questioned how the rules of the Church fit into UK laws on sex discrimination.
I did feel that some traditionalists commenting on the board were a little harsh in the way they expressed their opinions.
It would have been good to have had more time to debate these issues. This would have given me more opportunity to respond to people and enter into a dialogue.
