The former Irish Prime Minister explores the relationship - often close, often turbulent - between Europe and America from his viewpoint of European Union Ambassador to the United States.
In his letter of introduction to President Bush, John Bruton said the job needed "more telephone, less megaphone". In part two of 'Mr Ambassador' he reflects on the ups and downs of relations between the President of the United States and his European counterparts.
