This table shows all recorded incidents of knife crime in England and Wales 2007/08, broken down into police force areas. It is the first year that these statistics have been collected.
The figures cover attempted murder, grevious bodily harm, wounding (with or without intent to cause grevious bodily harm) and robbery. Murder and manslaughter are not included because homicide data is recorded separately.
