Bullied to death?
Panorama investigates the deaths of four young soldiers found shot dead at Deepcut Army barracks, in Surrey. The Army says all four committed suicide but the case has raised new questions about the bullying and intimidation of young recruits. For the last eight months reporter Ross McWilliam has had exclusive access to the families of the four dead soldiers, as they have fought to uncover the truth. Now, with new evidence, Panorama investigates whether a culture of bullying and intimidation in the Army is driving young recruits to take their own lives - or whether, even more ominously, there might be a killer on the loose at Deepcut. Panorama: Bullied to Death, was broadcast on BBC One at 2245 GMT on Sunday, December 1, 2002
