Can you imagine being able to stroke a tiger like your pet cat or have him rest his head in your lap?
That is on offer at Thailand's controversial Tiger Temple which is run by monks and staffed by trained vets and 200 locals.
But why are the animals so docile? Those working there say it is because they are well-fed and content but others have suggested a far more sinister reason. Rajan Datar reports.
