Camels have been fabled ships of the desert for centuries but in Abu Dhabi they face a new threat from humans. Day trippers leave their litter in the sands which the camels mistake for food.
Eating discarded tins and plastic bags leads to a slow and painful death for the camel but now a 15-year-old boy has made it his mission to clean up the desert and save the beautiful humped creatures.
