Apart from the sun and sea holidays on the Red Sea, tourism in Egypt is largely based on its fascinating past and archaeological sites.
Each year large numbers of tourists head to the Valley of the Kings to experience its rich history.
But are the huge crowds of visitors spoiling monuments that have endured for thousands of years? And are their presence a threat to the fabric of the Pharaonic temples there?
