Take That recently won a Brit award for best single
|
Re-formed boy band Take That have scored the 10th chart-topping single of their career with Shine.
The quartet's song moved up nine places, displacing Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs, whose new album Yours Truly, Angry Mob entered at number one.
Take That's comeback album Beautiful World, which has already topped the chart, climbed back to number two.
The group, whose latest tour sold out in three hours, secured their first chart-topper, Pray, in 1993.
Sole new entry
Six additional concerts were added to the foursome's arena tour, who sealed their comeback last month with a Brit award for best single Patience, a former chart-topper which went up to number 14 in this week's chart.
In December, Take That topped the singles and album charts simultaneously for the first time of their career with Patience and Beautiful World.
