Kaiser Chiefs' single Ruby has moved up a spot to claim the band's first number one, and knock singer Mika off the top of the UK charts after six weeks.

Mika's album also slipped from number one, beaten into second place by the Brit award winner Amy Winehouse's Back to Black.

In a week of no new releases, Kelis saw her single Lil Star climb 12 places to number three.

Rapper Akon's single I Wanna Love You fell to number four.

The top five was completed by US band The Fray's How to Save a Life.

Take That's follow-up to the hugely successful Patience, Shine, rose to number 10 from downloads alone, ahead of its release into shops on Monday.

In the album charts, Snow Patrol's Eyes Open, first released in May 2006, was third followed by The Fray's How to Save a Life and Take That's Beautiful World.

The late Johnny Cash made a appearance at 20 with the re-release of his live album At San Quentin, recorded in front of inmates at the San Quentin prison in 1969.
