Imogen lost out in the public vote against Richard
Former Miss Wales Imogen Thomas has become the latest contestant to be voted out of the Big Brother house.

The 23-year-old bar worker, who was up for eviction with Canadian waiter Richard Newman, received 62% of votes.

The pair had been living next to the main Big Brother building with evicted housemates Grace, Mikey, Lea and Nikki.

When Richard returned the housemates had one minute to decide which of the former contestants would rejoin the house, and they chose Nikki Grahame.

'Missed parents'

Imogen, who jumped up and down and shouted "yes, yes, yes" as she said goodbye to the housemates, got a mixed reception from the crowd as she left.

In her post-eviction interview, Imogen said she was not upset about missing the final week, adding: "I miss my parents so much."

Imogen was the hot 1/25 favourite to go, with Richard at 8/1.

When Nikki re-entered the house she told Pete: "I missed you, man. It was horrible."

The latest Big Brother twist is being investigated by premium rate phone watchdog Icstis after it received 2,700 complaints from viewers who thought they had voted out contestants for good.

The returning contestant will be eligible to win the reality show's £100,000 prize.
